Library Camp East

I waiting in Dayton to fly out to the second library camp event. I have been thinking about the next year 2007. There are lots of oppertunities that are available. I am thinking that focusing on the ILS and offering new services that are reader centric. At the moment I am developing an RSS feed that shows all new material that had been entered into the catalog. I think creating a number of feeds based on item type mystery, sci fi, western, romance etc. Since this material is new there is a pretty good chance that I could gather information from other sites and place this in the feed.
I would also think patrons would be interested in what other patrons are reading. Maybe the top 10 items that are circulating. I am still not sure if this information is better presented on a webpage, feed most probably both.It is really going to be interesting to hear where others view technology going and where the focus is going to fall. One of the challenges is to grow development within the ILS. John Blyberg suggested that we approach our local colleges.
